![]() Growing up with the whispers of how dangerous witch-hunters and the Wicked are, Vittoria and Emilia are fairly content living their life on the down-low, working in their family restaurant. ![]() The story was interesting enough, though: a witch and her twin sister are living in secret amongst humans in a quaint Sicilian town. I mean, NOW I’ll probably read further and finish this trilogy, because I can’t get enough of this particular demon prince, but ya know, I suppose I’m also sticking around because I need the endgame to result in a crowning. I will only admit this once, and ONLY once: I totally picked this book up because of the fanart. But when it comes to the Wicked, nothing is as it seems… Wrath claims to be on Emilia’s side, tasked by his master with solving the series of women’s murders on the island. ![]() Then Emilia meets Wrath, one of the Wicked-princes of Hell she has been warned against in tales since she was a child. Devastated, Emilia sets out to find her sister’s killer and to seek vengeance at any cost-even if it means using dark magic that’s been long forbidden. ![]() Emilia soon finds the body of her beloved twin…desecrated beyond belief. One night, Vittoria misses dinner service at the family’s renowned Sicilian restaurant. Emilia and her twin sister Vittoria are streghe – witches who live secretly among humans, avoiding notice and persecution. ![]()
